The Center for Community Services collection contains administrative materials from the inception of the program, including official documents detailing the establishment, creation, consolidation, and re-establishment of the Center, financial records, organizational charts, the Goals and Objectives of the Center, documents regarding the Establishment of Programs within the Center, and working and final drafts of the Policy and Procedure Manual. This collection also includes records of committees that were organized by the Center for Community Services such as the Mission Study Committee, which created the Mission Statement for the Center, the Chancellor’s Advisory Council, and the Advisory Committee for the Center for Community Service. In addition, this collection includes two series, which contain detailed records of two of the Center’s committees: SERIES I: STUDY COMMITTEE, 1974-1975                 Series I contains the administrative records of the Center for Community Services Study Committee. Items include: correspondence, documents about the establishment of the Committee, minutes, the Final Report of the Committee, including its assessments and faculty reactions, and notes. SERIES II: FACULTY COUNCIL, 1975-1979 Series II contains the administrative records of the Center for Community Services Faculty Council (abbreviated CCSFC). Items include: membership information, various drafts of the Bylaws of the Center, Minutes, and Documents created and passed by the Faculty Council.
