The Tell Me More Student News Magazine collection contains eight series: SERIES I: ORGANIZATION RECORDS, 1981                 Series I contains the Rules of Tell Me More as an Organization and the Organization Data Sheet. SERIES II: FINANCIAL RECORDS, 1976-1982                 Series II contains all the records kept by Tell Me More regarding the finances of the magazine, including, account statements, budget ledger, budget requests, income records, expenditure records, accounts records, fee allocations, supply inventory, purchase orders, invoices, requisition forms, check requests, work orders, and bills for printing services. SERIES III: STAFF RECORDS, 1980-1982                 Series III contains the records about the student staff members of Tell Me More magazine, such as application forms, sign-up sheets, bids for positions, job postings, cover letters and resumes, rosters of the staff, information about the staff, staff class schedules, and key usage forms. In addition, this series houses the notes from staff meetings and recruitment advertisements for staff that were created by Tell Me More members. SERIES IV: ADVERTISEMENT RECORDS, 1978-1981                 Series IV contains the records kept by Tell Me More regarding the advertising accounts of the magazine that were used as revenue, such as Advertisement Transaction examples, pre-written advertising materials, contract information for advertisers, and advertisement contracts. In addition, this series includes records about and from the Communications and Advertising Services to Student (CASS) Advertising Agent since this agent serviced Tell Me More’s advertisements. Lastly, the series houses records about advertising for Tell Me More such as the Tell Me More Work Plan, a memorandum on uncollectible accounts, and advertising layouts for the magazines. SERIES V: PUBLICATION RECORDS, 1976-1982                 Series V is the largest series of the collection and primarily houses the magazines published by Tell Me More¸ Volumes 1 through 10. In addition, this series contains the records kept by Tell Me More for publishing the magazine such as master copies of forms, scheduling and calendaring forms, information about the Visual Production Department, the Tell Me More Stylebook, Copyright Information, Editorial Policies, Letters to the Editor, Editor’s notes on stories, Issue Critiques, Publication Dates, correspondence, miscellaneous notes, printing records, story staff assignment forms, mailing lists, artifacts, such as a Tell Me More envelope and Press Cards, and mailings and pamphlets kept by Tell Me More. Lastly, the series includes three magazine editions’ Issue Layouts: September 1981, April 1982, and May 1982. SERIES VI: AD HOC COMMITTEE ON THE STUDENT NEWSPAPER RECORDS, 1980-1981                 Series VI houses the records of the Ad hoc Committee on the Student Newspaper that was formed in 1980 to assess Tell Me More. The series includes a summary of the committee, minutes, memoranda, surveys, an article entitled, “Student Governments vs. the Collegiate Press,” a flow chart of the magazine, and notes on the committee.   SERIES VII: ASSOCIATED COLLEGIATE PRESS MEMBERSHIP RECORDS, 1976-1982                 Series VII contains the membership records of Tell Me More to the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP) association. This series includes membership forms, newsletters, critiques by ACP, convention information, merit awards, and press guidebooks. SERIES VIII: INDIANA COLLEGIATE PRESS ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP RECORDS, 1975-1980 Series VIII contains the membership records of Tell Me More to the Indiana Collegiate Press Association (ICPA). The series contains an invoice for membership, newsletters, ICPA membership directories, ICPA awards lists, awards granted to Tell Me More, and contest entries from Tell Me More to ICPA from 1978 and 1980.
