The Focus on Purdue Calumet collection contains the program proposals from 1977 to 1978 to develop what they called, an “Industrial Access Day.” In addition, the collection contains the 1978 Resource File kept by University Relations and miscellaneous correspondence. Biographical or Historical Information

“Focus on Purdue Calumet” was a program coordinated by the Office of University Relations inviting Personnel Directors and Training Directors of area industries and businesses to Purdue University Calumet. The event allowed participants to become better acquainted with the growing number of academic enrichment and personal development programs at the campus. In particular, the event was designed to provide an overview and update of the new curriculum and career developments taking place in the academic schools.
