Biographical or Historical Information

The Urban Development Institute was established by Purdue University Calumet on March 1, 1960. The objectives of the Institute were to carry out the obligations of Purdue University as a member of the Purdue-Calumet Development Foundation in the following three areas of activity as a part of the Foundation’s urban renewal program: education service, research, and consultation in the rehabilitation of people and properties.
