Biographical or Historical Information

The financial aid duties were previously a part of the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, but Purdue University Calumet eventually separated the offices into the Office of Admissions and the Office of Financial Aid and Student Accounts. The Office of Financial Aid and Student Accounts works closely with the Office of Admissions to provide aid resources, including loans and scholarships, for prospective students at Purdue University Calumet. In particular, the Office provides resources for students to fill out and submit their Free Applications for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Using financial data from FAFSA, the Office of Financial Aid and Student Accounts can then proceed to assist students with scholarships, loans, and work-study programs. In addition, the Office manages Student Accounts by providing information to students about tuition, aid refunds, and student health care costs, and then regulating these services.
