The Bookstore Committee collection contains annual reports, agenda, minutes, memoranda, evaluations and questionnaires, proposed bookstore operations, request for proposals for bookstore operations, business trip records to evaluate bookstores, and miscellaneous records kept and used by the Bookstore Committee.

Biographical or Historical Information

The Bookstore Committee was a subordinate committee of the Resources and Planning Committee, which was a standing committee of the Council of Faculty Delegates (University Senate). The Bookstore Committee consisted of four faculty members, two students, and the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs. The responsibilities of the Bookstore Committee were to create a complete analysis of bookstore operations and prepare recommendations for improvement of the bookstore’s service to the Resources and Planning Committee.
