The Human Resources collection contains memorandums, flyers, brochures, mailings, manuals, correspondence, and forms provided for the faculty and staff regarding benefits, payroll, training and development, and Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity policies. The collection also contains the programs, invitations, and recommendation forms for the Annual Faculty and Staff Recognition Luncheons, as well as periodicals that were provided for the faculty and staff through Human Resources.

Biographical or Historical Information

The Human Resources department at Purdue University Calumet was previously known as Personnel Services, which was part of the Personnel and Payroll Office. The Human Resources department oversees the benefits, career opportunities, compensation, employee relations, onboarding, payroll, retirement, staff training and development, and workplace injuries of Purdue University Calumet. In the past, the department has also overseen the Equal Opportunity, Equal Access, and Affirmative Action policies before the Office of Equity and Diversity had been established.
